I founded The Balance Group after my own experiences with anxiety and depression at work showed me how often managers care deeply about their teams but feel unsure how to respond.
Today I support organisations to move beyond one-off initiatives and develop approaches that genuinely support mental health in everyday working life.

My story

“I know first-hand how isolating it can be to struggle at work — and how much difference the right support can make.”
My own experiences with anxiety and depression gave me a deep understanding of what people need when they’re not okay — and what often gets in the way when managers try to help.
That’s what led me to build The Balance Group: an organisation that helps workplaces create the conditions for people to thrive, not just survive.
