Privacy Policy
This policy explains how The Balance Group Ltd collects, uses and protects personal data obtained through this website.
Who we are
The Balance Group Ltd is a workplace wellbeing company based in the United Kingdom (company number 12324931). We are the data controller for the personal data collected through this website.
If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your data, please contact us.
What data we collect and why
Contact form submissions — when you use the contact form we collect your name, email address, and the contents of your message. We use this to respond to your enquiry. This data is processed on the basis of your consent (submitting the form).
Analytics cookies — if you accept cookies, we use Google Analytics (GA4) to collect anonymised information about how visitors use our site (pages visited, time on site, approximate location at country level). This helps us understand what is useful and improve the site. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics.
We do not collect data from visitors who decline cookies.
Cookies
We only set analytics cookies (Google Analytics / GA4) if you explicitly accept them using the consent banner. You can change your preference at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site.
We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or share data with third parties for marketing purposes.
How long we keep your data
Contact form submissions are retained for up to 12 months and then deleted.
Analytics data is retained in Google Analytics for 14 months, as per our account settings.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; withdraw consent at any time (this does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal).
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Third-party services
Google Analytics — analytics data is processed by Google LLC under their standard data processing terms. Google may transfer data outside the UK/EEA under appropriate safeguards.
Cloudflare Turnstile — we use Cloudflare's bot-protection service on the contact form. Cloudflare processes your IP address to verify you are human. See Cloudflare's privacy policy at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
Amazon Web Services (AWS) — our contact form submissions are processed and stored via AWS services hosted in the EU (eu-west-1, Ireland).

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
